Two Trees, styled as a Medieval miniature: Telperion and Laurelin, as described in JRR Tolkien's Silmarillion. "Thus in Valinor twice every day there came a gentle hour of softer light when both trees were faint and their gold and silver beams were mingled."
Stitched in cotton and silk on broadcloth with glass beads, silver and gold metallic threads, silver and gilt passing thread and Japanese gold.
Technique: split stitch, padded couched gold, couched passing thread.
